OXFORD, England (AP) — Fans of Philip Pullman have been waiting almost five years for the final instalment in the author’s sextet of books about his intrepid heroine Lyra and her adventures in multiple worlds. “I haven’t got a title yet,” Pullman told The Associated Press in his home city of Oxford, where he was honored Thursday with the Bodley Medal. I haven’t found the right title yet — but I will.”The medal, awarded by Oxford University’s 400-year-old Bodleian Libraries, honors contributions to literature, media or science. They blamed the Association of Pan American Athletics for the mistake. The gross mistake adds to Santiago's woes in the organization of the Pan American Games, which started on Oct. 20 and finish on Nov. 5. García finished her race in a cold and damp morning in 1 hour, 12 minutes and 26 seconds. BRASILIA, July 8 (Reuters) - A residential building collapse in northeastern Brazil killed 14 people, civil defense officials said on Saturday, as the last missing people were found lifeless. The collapse occurred on Friday in the Janga neighborhood on the outskirts of Recife, the capital of the northeastern state of Pernambuco. The apartment building collapsed during heavy rains that struck the region while many residents were still asleep. According to a statement from civil defense, three people managed to survive the collapse, whose cause remains unclear. Recife, a coastal city with around 1.5 million residents, has been grappling with heavy rainfall in recent days.
